SINCE 1978

Built by its community, here for generations

Islamic Centre St Albans was founded in 1978 at its Hatfield Road site as a dedicated place of Muslim worship. The purchase of the original property was funded by donations from the local community.

As more worshippers came to the centre, the mosque expanded its facilities to accommodate prayer, learning and community activities.
